Perhaps I'm missing this feature in onX, but would anybody else like I would call "personal layers"... overtime my location marks are overwhelming my map. Having a feature like personal layers and sub layers would allow you to turn on and off your markings i.e. drive, trail, water, animals, etc. The sub personal layers could then be used for year... Writing the user cases for these features would take a little bit more, but I'm just wondering if anybody else would like features like this.

And yes I know we can currently color code and give specific icons but again it's only on map.

No I wanna put them on a layer within the application and turn them on and off depending on what my needs are. Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not? Is there a folder feature I'm missing?

Have you tried color color coordinating your waypoints. For example all of my glassing waypoints are not only labeled with the bino marking, but also all yellow. Trails are blue, roads red etc…

Yes, I've done the color coding out of necessity, not by desire.

The folders more or less accomplish what you want. The problem is that if you hunt a smaller, dense area a lot—like around my home—you wake up one day with several thousand tracks and waypoints. Yes, putting them in a folder would help, but now the issue is that its not possible to select more than one waypoint at a time to add to a folder. So its more or less not happening until they add functionality to shift/click or control/click a hundred waypoints at a time, and simultaneously add all of them to a folder. That’s my #1 wishlist item.

#2 is being able to share locations with a hunting partner (or add a device to a dog) so you can see all of your hunting partners locations on the map at the same time (without cell service!)

you can select multiple waypoints and add them to a folder in both the phone app and web map

Give me landscape mode and I’d be happy.
Especially since on X offroad has it, even though hunters have been asking for it for years.

Every video of on X offroad advertising landscape mode just has a bunch of comments from hunters asking for it.

Only in the “select” window—its cumbersome. Trying to deal with a couple thousand waypoints from before folders existed need it as easy as possible—click and drag kind of easy, shift/click on 50, drag to folder. As is its a big help and easier than it was before they added this, but still takes days for a small area. Almost easier to burn it down (losing 10ish years of scouting) and start fresh.

I'll second this - easy, intuitive layers that I can just click and drop waypoints into. I do a great deal more than just hunting with OnX, and it would be great to be able to take a set from one hunt or one expedition of some kind, and just park those to pull up at a later point when they're relevant again.

I'd also like to be able to send a set straight to my wife or someone I'm hunting with, and have them be able to populate their screen with it with just a click or two.
