Onx versus Earthmate, battery consumption

I have both. Has anyone tested battery consumption lately? The apps get updated all the time, so I didn't bother doing a search for past history.

Was hoping someone on here knew something about the inner workings of the platforms and could comment that one system would always be better than the other.
