ONX question

Been having an issue when trying to text/share a waypoint with friends. When they click on the link the waypoint isn’t there and it gives a comment about being unable to find any content associated with the link. Pretty annoying. Any ideas? I tend to be technologically challenged so I'm hoping its something simple.

I had this happen before and then it started working again. Has it been an ongoing thing or just a one time today type of thing?

I had to do an update recently. Have both parties updated the app?

Well, mine appears to be current with updates.


Even after I send the waypoint, if I open the link on my phone it shows the same thing, so it seams like its an issue on my end.

I cant say how long it lasted for me. I just remember a month or so ago it happened when I tried opening a shared pin, but ive opened shared pins since then and it's been Gucci.

Not to state the obvious but maybe sign-up. Delet the app, re down load and log back in?

I just tried opening a link I sent to a guy about 6 weeks ago and it gives me the same thing.

See I can open a pin that was sent to me, but when I send one the recipient cant see it and the sent link doesn't show anything to me either.

Ive had this before depending on how I send the link. Its always worked via text, but didnt work when sent via other methods. Have not had the issue in a while. Just recieved pins via text yesterday that seemed to work. Guessing its a combo platform / app version issue.

Well I've sent pins to people today that seam to be working just fine so I'm not sure if it was a glitch or what but there were 2 people that I sent pins to in the last week or so that wouldn't work. I called ONX and they said everything seams to be working fine on my end.

I have had exactly as you describe happen to me on occasion over rhe years. Day or two won’t send then it just starts working again.
