I’d love to have the option to hide many of the symbols I don’t use or at least have more than 3 favorites so I don’t have to wade through a pile of symbols to grab one for a scrape.
Can you make a the symbols list shorter when you select and eastern hunt zone? Why do I need to scroll through elk symbols when I’m hunting whitetails in SC trying to mark a scrape?
Allow for marking different kinds of trees with symbols. Like I’d like to mark a red oak vs white oak and maybe a super rare American Chestnut. Persimmons, pear, other fruit trees…
Same complaint here. Not enough variety of pins for marking food types, distinguishing trail and road types, or even animal species.
The solution I see is to have a bigger library of pin types that you can select from and add to your favorites.
For example, If I'm a whitetail hunter, my favorites would be scrapes, rubs, food sources, stand types, etc.
When I head out for an elk hunt, I remove the whitetail specific pin types and replace with elk specific pin types,
It truly is a pain in the azz to sort through dozens of pins I'll never use, sasquatch for example.
Can you pick up for more hiking trails in parks, WMAs, forests? Maybe get old logging roads or find them from LiDAR data mining.
It seems like you could definitely crowdsource data to pick up new trails and correct old ones. The technology is obviously out there if you look at a running app like Strava, which shows heat maps of running routes.
It would also be nice to be able to report a "locked gate" or no-trespass routes to know ahead of time whether you can cross certain pieces of private property. For example, once a few people report a blocked access, some sort of pin or icon shows on the map.
