One last hunt before going in the Air Force.

I took the grandson on his first ever Elk hunt in NM. I managed to get a second cow tag, he filled both. First one on day one, second one about 12 hours later on the morning hunt. 200 and 300 hundred yard shots. He was very nervous and ended up with a badge of honor above his eyes.

Ouch ouch, but congrats and thank him for his decision to serve this country. I've grazed my eye before but never full on contact like that. May there be many more years hunting with him as his time allows.
