On Glass Bino Anchor - Launching 3.19.2026

Hey guys,


Just wanted to give everyone here a heads up that we’re releasing our new On Glass Bino Anchor on March 19.


We designed this as a simple, lightweight way to run binoculars on a tripod without the common issues that come with offset adapters.


A few key features:


• Centered attachment post – keeps the binoculars balanced on a tripod so they rotate smoothly instead of wanting to swing away from your face like offset mounts tend to do.
• Direct attachment to any ARCA tripod head – no extra plates needed.
• Low-profile design – small enough to leave on your binos full time, even inside a bino harness.
• Universal fit – works with essentially all standard double-barrel binoculars.
• Ultralight – weighs less than 1 ounce.


The goal was to make something you can just leave on your binos and never think about until it’s time to throw them on a tripod.


We’ll have more photos and a walkthrough coming soon, but I wanted to let the Rokslide crew know first.

The string with a knot is a bit worrisome, I'm assuming its really secure and easy to keep tight?

I like the idea of it. It will be interesting to see how the durability and effectiveness of the string works out, but I can definitely see it being a non-issue.

Any thoughts on adding a recess in the bottom plate for glassing off of a trekking pole tip?

Appreciate it! The knot is really just extra reinforcement. The cord is routed so that when tension is applied it cinches down on itself and locks in place, so technically the knot isn’t even necessary. We just include it as a little added security.


We’ve been testing this setup for about a year now and have had very little slippage or cord stretch.

Retail will be $40. We have tested this for a year now and have dialed in the cordage and route of the cordage to ensure there is no slip or stretch.
