Being in a spot to afford some non essentials and experiment has led me to purchasing some “Companion”? bins. I’ve wanted to see what Maven was all about. Took a shot to fill a niche with the B3 in 8X30.
I run some sort of “set up” every day. I live rural and walk dogs off trail, run game cams, shed hunt or simply ramble almost every day. I have: 10X42, 10X50, 12X50 and 15x56 bins.
I was really searching for an optic to just “toss in” or toss on. I generally carry a handgun in a Hill People kit bag. Or Kenai Gunfighter chest rig. Throwing on an optic with the Hill People bag I’ve not yet solved. But I’m closer with these mini bins
They just showed up so I can’t chime in on optical quality just yet. But geeesh. They feel very well put together. Stout. Solid. Way smaller than I envisioned. Not quite shirt pocket sized. But close. I need a pouch just slightly larger than a range finder pouch. If there are any suggestions I’m all ears.
