I figured I'd put out my thoughts on the ollin snapshot bino system. I've used it for about a year and half now and I like it. I'll attach some photos and share my thoughts.
I did not keep the adapter on my glass until I saw somthing I wanted to film. I would store the adapter in the pocket of my bino harness. After locking my tripod on the deer I would pop my glass off; push my adapter on then put my binos back on the tripod. After attaching my phone I would do some fine adjustments and normally be right on whatever I was looking at. Unless you can glass with one eye, you cannot leave the adapter on to glass. However you can still look through the adapter to find a animal if you have lost it (it is just harder as your eye relief is a farther distance.) The magnets are plenty strong to hold your phone up. The case has held up better than I thought it would as my first impressions were it was cheap. It took me a little getting used to to figure what orientation I needed to push my adapter on at for horizontal or vertical filming, but after a little while it was pretty easy. So far the adapter hasn't damaged my eye cup but it does make me a little nervous. Note that on my binos the eye cup had to be in all the way in as the detents that hold it after different lengths away from the glass are not strong enough to keep the phone from rotating the eye cups. I was able to zoom in on my phone for some closer animals and got a good clear image which I thought was cool. Over all I'm happy with the system. On sale I think I paid just over 125$. Replacement cases seem expensive but that's how they make money I'm sure. It is the fastest way to digiscope even when I'm popping the adapter on. I do my best to be careful installing the adapter to prolong the life of my eye cups and so far that has worked. Here are some photos and video I took with the bino adapter filmed on my Samsung s20fe through my vortex viper 12x50 set on a cheaper slik tripod most are taken sitting but some were at full extension standing.
