Since I struggled to find any real information online about how the Ollin adapter worked for the standard Vortex Diamondback HDs in 10x42 I figured I'd post my experience here. These are the binos that you see talked about a lot as a good first cheap pair usually running around $250 full price. Now being that there wasn't much information about them online I was struggling to identify which ollin adapter they actually needed. On the ollin website it can be found under shop>snapshot>bino adapter>Vortex>Diamondback HD(56MM, 50MM, 42MM). Being that there are multiple other binos listed exactly by magnification i wasnt sure if this was correct. This adapter definitely fit my 10x42s but unlike how I see people leave them on when looking through spotting scopes, I cannot leave it on my binos and still get a good sight picture. Everytime I use it I have to take it on and off. So far I have been happy with its adapter fit, photos, and film quality though. I will post some photos and videos here through it with ranges and animals as I get to it to help fill out this review for similarly budget conscious people like me. Hope this will help some folks.
