Oldie pack frame project

Anyone know what this is? I'm thinking of tearing it down, modding a harness/belt to fit it, and building a bag/sling for it. More of a "for the fun of it" project, as I already have a Kelty cache hauler...

Thoughts/ideas?

I happen to have one that looks very similar, especially in the configuration of the small rods in the small of the back. The patch on it says Camp Trails.

Cool. Thanks! The back suspension is hand tied and looks OLD, but in great condition. Wanted to make sure i wasn't cutting up some cool antique

Not really antique. I have an old camp trails pack like that from the 80's. I've been messing with ideas on modding mine too.

I have an old Kelty frame with a small red bag on top that looks very similar to that. It doesnt list a particular model. I attachged a milk crate to the bottom section and use it to carry all of my trapping equipment in the winter. It sure beats carrying 5 gallon buckets or a wicker trapping basket.
