older Kifaru frame work on new packs

I have a 2017 Kifaru crater pack. I want to get a smaller pack for short day or 1-2 day trips. Can I simply buy a new smaller Kifaru pack and put it on my existing frame?

Shouldn’t be a problem. Kifaru does use smaller buckles for some of their newest accessories, but pack buckles for attaching the bag to frame and general fitment should all be the same. Frame specifics and a pic would be helpful, as well as the bag you’re considering.
