Oil Change Interval

Just to touch on the oil indicator algorithm, if I have been driving the highway a lot the mileage is more than when I am off road or on gravel, slower speeds etc.

Seems someone has that fugured out pretty accurately.

17 f150 3.5 ecoboost. I change it myself every 5k or less with full synthetic. Rather change the oil too often than deal with turbo issues.

Tacoma 4.0. 5w-30 every 5,000 miles.

Damn wife’s 20 4 runner is 0w20 syn Mobil 1 at 10k. Pretty clean at 8k though. I ran my rebuilt 05 Cummins to 12k when we were moving(hauling some pretty heavy trailers)/got lazy 15w40 rotella t4. Sent in a lubescan got it back and said good oil condition and additives. Surprising for running conventional rotella or cenex superlube 15w40. I’m impressed.

Every 5k oil, rotate tires, fill DEF and drain water separator

Every 15, above with fuel filters and air filters.
