Mine was a little sticky after taking on and off but I just wiped my muzzle threads clean and has been smooth as butter since. Super easy.

carb cleaner, with the straw nozzle attachedHow the funk do you clean the threads inside the can?
I got the raw finish and wouldn’t elect to do that again solely because the two ends that were machined are polished and very shiny. Not what one wants on a hunting can.
@wind gypsy - I'm guessing you already know about this, but just in case not (or for anyone else) high-temp spraypaint can work well also. Sold not only in auto parts stores, but often in hardware stores for re-touching woodstoves.Hmmm. I’ve also got a raw one on the way and I certainly don’t want the front end to be shiny either.
Maybe hit it with a torch until you get some gold or purple color.
Would that even take the sheen off of it?Hmmm. I’ve also got a raw one on the way and I certainly don’t want the front end to be shiny either.

Glad you’re really liking your can from us! Thank you for the honest feedback.Been shooting the OG65 the last few days and it’s by far my favorite can. Love not thinking about end caps or adapters working loose. It sounds great, but also really carries great. Even though it’s only 7.3 oz, having that weight not just hanging off the end of the barrel, but moved back and distributed over the barrel leaves you with nice handy rifle to tote around.
