OG Suppressor Early Access Rokslide Link

Mine's been at my SOT since Monday; we got the eForm submitted this morning. Heading in to the Post office to mail my fingerprint cards this afternoon.

I got the bead blasted finish and I like the way it looks.

What is the minimum clearance required between the OD of the barrel and ID of the suppressor? At the thread end shoulder it is .726, four inches back the OD is .775. The ID of the reflex end of the OG is .800... is that close enough to cause interference during the shot process?

It is an ACE #2 barrel cut to 18 inches for reference.

That tight of clearance will probably affect your harmonics and push your nodes all over and you won't be able to tune your load to get Optimal Barrel Timing for 1/4 MOA groups.

JK, I don't believe in any of that voodoo. I doubt it will be an issue as long as the can is torqued on properly. Somebody should test it though, jam a twig in between the ID and barrel and see if it causes a POI shift.

Nope. You’re fine.

The $100 off sale has me sorely tempted. Tbh I was sorely tempted before. Need to find a local FFL/SOT that doesn't charge an arm and a leg for the transfer though.

Call around. Mine used to charge $100 for the transfer now they do $50, or free, as the wait times are basically nil so they are not “warehousing” them. I’m a trust and was cleared in 12 days.

The gun store I use doesn’t charge any fees. I think they just like to see the cans come through. I try to buy some of their ammo or a spare magazine whenever I get a new can through them, but they don’t seem to care either way. Good group of guys. I drive about 30 minutes extra to go to their store because the closer store’s fees are outrageous.

I would look around and see if driving a little further saves you the fees.
