OG Suppressor Alleged Design Flaw.

Meh. Maybe. if the stuff is big enough I guess anything is possible.

I just unscrewed my OG, and found some cheatgrass seeds. Hadn’t noticed any accuracy changes.

Hope you enjoy your new can.

Sure it can happen with any open rear can but its not common. In NZ we have been running this style can although we usually run a bushing thats made up for your barrel that just clears the barrel when fitted and that keeps most stuff out especially the stuff that would matter.

Its usually just delrin as seen threaded in the back here. I dont run them as my cans go between a heap of rifles.

My barrel is the Tikka CTR contour, whatever size that is. It's just small enough at the threads for the suppressor to fit on. The back ends tapers out wider. If anything got in there, it's probably going to fall out when the gun is held vertically. It's also unlikely that you're going to get anything in there because you would basically have to drag the gun backwards.
20inch or 24inch CTR?
And which OG?

I've been wondering if the OG6.5 will fit a 20" CTR...

Unfortunately this info was from a local gunsmith so I brought it here. I pretty much expect the claims to be unfounded or overblown.

Never underestimate the ability of anyone in the gun world to find the tiniest grain of plausible thing, and turn it into a cosmically important Big Deal.

That's the culture code for understanding 90% of Fudd lore. It's BS.

Wear your protection. Trojan Magnum, taping to the barrel. Protect both ends!
I genuinely thought about this the other week.
Essentially a single use end of gun "condom" to keep debris, snow and crap out of the muzzle end in particular.
