Offline maps for Unit 26

What is/are good digital maps that be downloaded prior to a hunt? Since we won’t know the exact location until we get dropped, thought I’d download most of the unit.

Caribou unit 26(b) in particular.

I have used Gaia and onx both will suffice!

I don’t have either currently, do you have a preference of one of the other?

Paired with a Garmin Inreach GPS if that matters.

There was just a thread about this. It might answer some of your questions. I just use Onx and always have my InReach and a backup GPS with me. Never had an issue with Onx.

Everyone I know up there uses Onyx with no issues.

I use Huntstand and have been very happy with it. You can download specific maps before a trip and they will be available offline. Its a lot cheaper than On X, and has all the features I need.

Personally use OnX for all of AK. Never had issues and allows detailed views. Never had an issue other than I wish it was cheaper, but as much as I use it and it being better than the other mapping apps/software I don't mind it.
