With as fast as this site is growing I find myself posting a bit less and less in the other subforums. In light of our recent get-together I figured we could start an official WA member thread here and make it a bit easier to stay in touch with new friends and share local news/info and shoot the chit... I've already noticed after a day from the WA hiking trip we're still BS'ing quite a bit on that thread and thought we could move it over to here. Thoughts?

Ha! I've been seeing critters everywhere from 5000' to 6500' so far this year

Mark I just got in my new pack today and messed around with it a bit. We'll have to get together and shoot bows and load up the packs with some heavy weight to compare standard stays vs flat back stays if you're wanting to.

I mentioned on the hike I just picked up one of these wrist straps for my release... really really liking it!

I'm always game for some snow camping. December is better for me. Tax season is pretty much out Jan-April.
You should have seen the look on the backcountry skier's faces when they saw us doing a little of this at a high-lake.
