Good deal!
The OG won't fit over a proof barrel, will it?
Wow. Now I’m super torn. Was set on an airlock but this might ouch me over the edge. I’m a bit nervous about my adapeters getting stuck as I’m using the precision armament and I’ll have to turn them down since most of my stuff is 9/16. If for some reason it gets stuck It’s prolly in there for good.
Yea ive been using the red loctite. If prepped well you have full confidence in rocksett? I didn’t think they had a 9/16 adapter?Clean threads with acetone or brake cleaner well, roksett adapter- easy life. Or better, get the US made adapter that allows removal from the can.

I fail to see any way the Unknown Suppressors adapter would be more easily extracted than the Precision Armament. Neither have a place for a tool on the back. The Precision Armament at least has wrench flats, so it can be torqued against the barrel rather than just relying on adhesive to stay in place.
Those are UM not US adaptersPrecision Armament is US made.

OP, Rokset the adapter to the barrel, then use anti seize on the threads to the suppressor. With a wrench, I had to soak in boiling water for several minutes and pretty sure if I put the action in a vice I would have rounded off the Precision Armament adapter or removed the barrel from the action before breaking a properly Rokset adapter free.
I have the Precision Armament adapters. I'm basing my opinion of the Unknown Suppressor's adapter on their website description and this picture.View attachment 945540
Thanks. I think the US adapters have a slots and a tool to be able to remove on the event an adapter gets stuck. Sounds like rocksett will be the way to go. I’ll have to turn down the precision armament adapters since they are well over .750.Precision Armament is US made.

Thanks, those are nice and I was looking at the wrong thing. Now they just need to make them for 9/16x24 and I would pick some up.
Yeah, Rokset doesn't loose strength with heat, at least not until you are well past glowing read, as it is a water based ceramic. If you put it on thick and don't heat the joint to set it, you can end up with the outside setting and the inside staying wet, then heat it up and the inside boils and breaks it free (personal experience).Thanks.
