What off the shelf 6mm Creed rifle you all are shooting?
wanting to get one but not sure which to look closer at

I went cheap and bought a Gen 1 Ruger American a few years back and swapped the stock to a MDT field stock. It’s a sweet shooting setup for what I have into it.

I got a used Seekins PH2 6 creed not long ago and it shoots impressively well. I'm a straight Tikka guy but I'm hanging on to that one.

My ruger predator 6cm shoots great with can, poorly without. Seekins ph2 does great all around. Have about 240 rds down it, since I have several other 6cm custom barrels for other action, it's been at the back the safe for a while. Prob gonna get sold, it's a great rifle tho.

Carbon or steel?
Carbon, with the adjustable stock. My 1 gripe is that on the original release of rifles like mine, you cannot remove the bolt with that adjustable section of the stock on the rifle….. so you have to pull it off the gun to clean. Not a big deal, but perfect if that were fixed.

Sub $700 - a Ruger american
Higher budget option- Tikka t3x in 243, 22-250, 308 etc… and get a $500 PBB barrel spun on it

Agreed, it's a little annoying.

Good thing I don't clean it a lot. Lol
