Odd Question.. Factory Ammo issue

Have had my 6.5 PRC Christensen Mesa since the end of Jan. Just today got time to shoot it.
When I bought it, I bought 2 Factory boxes of Hornaday Match 147s for it.
First 5 rounds shot fine.
Went to load 6 and 7 and the bolt wont close.
Grabbed another 2 rounds and they chambered fine.
Have you all seen where a factory box wont chamber at all? It's not even just a hard bolt close, but won't even come close to closing. First I have had it from factory stuff.
I haven't measured the rounds that didn't chamber yet but plan to.

Was just curious what you all have seen.

Long rounds or short chamber or something stuck in chamber.

Yes, with a Christensen mesa in 300prc and Hornady ammo. Sent the rifle in to Christensen, they swapped barrels and sent it back (good on them!). It went straight to the pawn shop and I replaced it with a 30 nosler tikka. Would do the same thing 10 times over.

I am hoping for issues with just the ammo.
I am wondering now if there is an issue in the shoulder of the rounds.
Im gonna do some checking on all of them tonight and see what I can find.

Yup, also with a Mesa. They seem to have a track record. Had a 308 that would usually chamber on most ammo, but not all, and even the stuff that would chamber would sometimes chamber hard.

Gladly traded it in on a Tikka and I’ve been a happy boy.
