Odd Question: Anyone Enjoy a Good Kicking Gun Like Me?

Yes, but only because I've spent way too much time reading about hunting dangerous game in Africa.

I hunt with a Manbun, but like to play with recoil.

Last week I shot my 6.5 lb CVA Accura MR with 100 grain by volume charge BH209 and 300 grain Powerbelt Aerolite. BOOM!! Make you feel alive.

Everything I've owned has been non braked shot a couple of my friends rifles with a brake didnt care for it. Started out when I was 12 with a 30.06 180gr accubonds 700 adl kicked pretty good never knew any different my current rifles are 338 win mag 250gr 300 weatherby mag 180gr 270 weatherby mag 140gr no brakes no issues with the recoil in any of them although friends say they all kick hard and wont shoot them I've never had an issue with any of those with seeing impacts when shooting took a buck at 410 with the 270 weatherby watched the impact took a bear this year with the 338 win mag 250gr ar 280 watched the impact and him drop then and there when I used to shotgun all the time I would shoot a couple hundred rounds out of a 590 in an outing about 50-75 of those would be magnum slugs and buckshot loads and would be fine. I'm not a big guy 6'1 165lbs my father 5'10 145lbs when he was alive could freehand 4 rounds from the 300 weatherby mag into a 6" target at 200 yrds in under 6 seconds. I believe I read somewhere where PHs over in Africa have a qualification shoot similar to that with high caliber rifles as well. Recoil management and frequency of shooting plays a huge part into the comfort I think I also shoot 243s and 22s but I can say I shoot the 338 win mag and 300 weatherby mag just as well as the 243 that doesnt move much at all with 100gr partitions all sub moa. I will say all of my rifles are "heavier" 8+ lb rifles I've never bought into the "ultralite" 6lbs rifle thing.
