For ever thankful for this Buck I was able to harvest this October of 24.
A place I hunt in utah every year as a tradition with my dads friends where I was first introduced to hunting big game. I shot my first nice buck in the unit 3 years ago somehow got up and was shot by another hunter just 100 yards along side the same ridge and they loaded him up quick so I couldn't even see how big he was but he was big... and that will for ever haunt me as it was my fault thinking I could walk back to the truck for my knife and the buck would still be there.... big rookie mistake. Come three years later after many solo archery hunts and with my favorite Utah tag again my luck changed and this deer dropped and expired very quick and didnt take my eyes off of him the whole time and the some. I was skunked the past 3 hunts there and ate my tag so this meant a lot to me as the past few years have really been somewhat of an unlucky grind for me as I mainly hunt solo. Times have changed and hopefully just more luck to come as I like to try and stay positive as its all we can do with the time and money spent on hunts!n
