If BRT ever had a damn mid length gas tube for 100% suppressed in stock I’d buy one. Every time I’ve looked in the past year has been fruitless.
I feel ya. The gas port size on the YHM gas block is ~.055, and they're $20. Definitely worth a try, and it's honestly a better solution. Although I'm generally not a fan of YHM, and do like BRT products that I've used. I have a few of the gas blocks and they're a simple and reliable solution.

Totally understand, the price was a selling point to me too. I'd spin it on and try but haven't bothered because I have a CB-flash hider tacked on my 14.5" AR to avoid NFA stamp reqs so the Polo K also has the CB hub adapter in it and I haven't wanted to know bad enough to play adapter musical chairs and try in on the 6 creed and 223 tikka that wear a scythe and ultra 7.

If i get a minute in the next couple weeks I might give it a try but range time is pretty packed full of other things i'm trying to accomplish right now before season.

Have shot the polo k a fair bit on an 18” 223 bolt gun now. It definitely doesn’t suppress as well and the ultra 7 that’s usually on it but it does alright. I personally wouldn’t purchase it over something that suppresses better for a bolt gun but it’s a big upgrade over nothing.

Agree with you, better than nothing but I sort of felt a little disappointed in polo k, I have a few sico, dead air, and then I grabbed this for a dedicated 5.56, it’s alright but maybe I’m expecting too much out of a little can, my harvester evo and DA nomad ti are far quieter, IMO polo k has been on both an 18” gas gun and 16/22” bolt guns

I just bought the OCL polonium to live on a 6arc. If I don’t like it there then it could move over to a 243. Excited to have a caliber specific can. Plenty of research to show caliber specific is better at suppression.

Pew data looks good on suppression. I’ve bought a few suppressors based on his data and I’ve been pleasantly surprised.

Silencer shop has them on back order. I’d expect them to have hundreds of each polonium on back order. So it’s probably going to feel like the old STF wait.

Do you have a dedicated .223 bore suppressor to compare your Harvester EVO to? Just wondering about using it on a future .223 Tikka.

No 5.56 end caps, just shooting the .223 through my .308 end cap suppressors they were quieter to my ear than the polo k, now the evo or nomad ti probably aren’t for “mag dumping” and there is barrel length restriction, but the tone seemed a little lower.
