I got the Xbolt LR version in 300 wm.
Gun is exactly what I paid for. It is heavy, but that helps me reach out 500 yards with relative ease and factory ammo.
They are perrty guns- you wont want to get it dirty
bloody maybe but not dirty

I was in the same dilemma, wanted a new gun and looked at a lot of different options. Maybe I just got lucky but I pulled a brand new hells 300 WSM for $800 last week off gunbroker.com. That was the price I wanted to pay for that gun and waited until I got the deal. I looked at the Mesa and it seemed to bulky, hard to explain but I wasnt in love. Took me a while to accept I would be owning a gun made in Finland or Japan but am now happy how it played out.

We are both reloading I am using H1000 he is using retumbo
First rifle either of us have owned with a brake I’ll
Never own another large caliber gun without one kicks like
My 243 bought mine through buds gun for 1130 hope this helps
We don’t run factory ammo so I can’t give any performance there
The triggers on both guns are awesome I usually have a smith
Work my triggers over no need with this one.

I have both 168 Berger’s and 162 eld-x. I’m gonna try the elds first I think over a healthy dose of h1000 or rl26.
