Not my Tikka! Fired engaging safety

Every single bolt action rifle that I am aware of, will fire if he trigger becomes loose. It’s not a design flaw- your car will crash too if your lug nuts are loose and a tire comes off.

Amen to this, I did my expert gunsmithing to a Rem 700 trigger, it went bang when I flipped the safety on after racking one into the chamber.....and had a "friend" do a brake job on a 91 Ford Bronco, because I was working and didnt have the time, and he needed the money....he didnt get the passenger side front wheel lug nuts tight, freaking wheel came off at 65 mph, went across 4 lanes of uncoming traffic, I got it pulled over and the nice popo that stopped, retrieved my wheel lol course with half the brake rotor ground off, I couldnt put it back on lol. But still, true words you spoke there @Formidilosus lol now I do my own mechanic work on my vehicles and I dont mess with triggers lol

700s don't count in a "that too" collection of junk triggers. Most folks already know they are death traps.
