Caffeine/NSAIDs in the truck- wouldn't have thought of that, thank you.

No, no, no... Pain-Meds in your pack! And not just NSAIDs... I'm talking Rx stuff. An Opiate. You DO NOT know what can happen out there! I had a slip and fall that shattered my wrist one time. Got 13 screws in there now!

You never know when you might have to drag your sorry broken a$$ back outta the Mtn. DEFINITELY have pain meds in your pack at all times!

NOTE: When it comes to regular NSAIDs or other meds... you wanna take em with you in TABLET form when it's in a Hot environment. GelCaps and sometimes even Capsule forms... can partially melt/smear and wanna stick to each other in your container making it a major PITA to deal with.

Same thought applies to Meal bars you choose. On your Scouting missions you figure out which Meal Bars are OK to use in that Hot environment and won't melt all to heck.
