Another 125,000 acre fire on the WY-MT line right now.200,000 acres in 2 days is insane.
A terrible tragedy. It was quite possibly responsible for one of the best elk herds in the lower 48 for a while though. This is the anniversary of the big burn or fire of 1910.
3 million acres in a couple of days.
todays fire's have nothing on that one.

Except for everyone that lost their places during the Gwen, pretty quiet year. Amazing how the tide turned at the latter part of July and August. 1 5000 acre fire in the Selway and pretty much north of the Salmon River is quiet.I actually was going to comment, this year is a first in a few years we haven't had any fires. It’s been raining here in SW OR since yesterday, light to medium in waves, but consistent. Hopefully it rolls NE and helps out a lotExcept for everyone that lost their places during the Gwen, pretty quiet year. It's going to be a long winter for you guys.
First issue I see is that most of the signs are way to low to the ground. Especially considering even the sight distance doesn't make it look like they should be on the ground. Other then that, it looks prestigious.
Remington fire pictures. Most intense fire I have ever seen. View attachment 755872View attachment 755873View attachment 755876View attachment 755877View attachment 755875 View attachment 755876View attachment 755877View attachment 755878
