North Idaho Moose

My wife was lucky enough to draw a bull moose tag this year, we have started scouting already on the southern end of the unit. The unit is decent size, but looking for any help in trying to find a good bull! There is a ton of country to look over in about as far north as you can get in Idaho.

Congratulations to your wife, good luck on your scouting and the hunt. I drew a moose tag in Washington in the extreme northeast corner of the state, bordering ID and Canada. I'm excited for my hunt and the adventure.

So secrective Are you a long time resident familiar with the area enough you can follow directions and know the different mountain names, roads, ect?
