Hey Rokslide Squad.

FNG from, North Dakota, as of now. Been stationed here for a couple of years. Coming up on retirement soon. Then pursuing the American dream of hunting full time. Yeah, maybe it's a pipe dream, but it's MY pipe dream. 😆

Looking forward to sharing and hearing different perspectives, philosophies, experiences, ideas, etc. with you all. I solely bowhunt (that's not to say bowhunting is superior, it's just what I enjoy) so I'll be asking and answering a lot of questions in the archery forum. However, I've learned that regardless of the weapon of choice, a lot of principles overlap. Bow, Gun, spear, slingshot (?) you've still got to find the animals, to harvest the animals. From what I've learned thus far in my short (3 year) journey, a lot of those tactics are pretty universal.

See you around.

As the self-appointed chairman of the welcoming committee, it is my privilege to extend a laurel, and hearty handshake (virtual, of course) to our new ND member, Spec.

Hey Spec - another ND guy here. Long time Rokslide lurker, finally engaging more since I’ve gotten into muley hunting in the Badlands (bow and rifle).

Welcome pal. Nice to see a fellow North Dakotan. I live over on the eastern border (Grand Forks) but I'm putting a lot of intention and motivation into getting out west and spot and stalk hunting Muleys. I went one time, last year, with my brother. It was just a day huntn and I was just along for the ride, but I was HOOKED! I can't wait to get out there on my own this September. I'm sure you feel similarly, that bug bites hard 😂. Best of luck to you! See you around the Rok! Feel free to reach out if you ever wanna BS.
