Salomon Forces Quest has a non goretex version. They work great for the summer.

Late to this thread, but I use Salomon forces speed assault 2, with an insole. They’re great for early season—light, agile, great grip, quiet, fit my foot very well. Just have to keep an eye on the laces, they can wear through.
