After making a lifestyle change we have sold the house and moved into a rental for a short time. I’ve always had a built in reloading bench but due to current circumstances will need something not mounted to the wall or floor. Oh and it has to go upstairs. . .

What options are you guys using that fits this criteria and works well for stability? Specific information or models would be ideal.

Thanks

Id make a bench that accommodates space available that you can build and take apart and re assemble in space available and have a stable surface. No need to mount to anything if made appropriate. I prefer a L shape for such

Major time consumption but juice might be worth the squeeze. I like an L shape bench as well.

I made a portable set-up. An old restaurant table base with a scrap of 1/4 inch steel for a top. Drag it into a closet or carry it where ya want....

Bolting the press to a short board and clamping it to a table top with a couple of C-clamps is a popular way to have a temp reloading space that doesn’t take up any room when stored away.
This is what I did when I had a tiny apartment for a year. Just used my kitchen table and two quick clamps on a 2x6. Loaded 1000 rounds that way without issue.

My other semi-portable option is a harbor freight workbench with a heavy wood top. It probably weighs 150 pounds but is easily disassembled when needed. I’m very happy with it.

Remember which table it was?
I don’t see it on HF currently but this is basically the same as my current bench. I got it as a gift so not sure exactly where it was bought, though I always assumed HF.

That said, if buying new, something a bit smaller like this may be better.
