Noisy Tikka SS bolt?

Wondering if anyone has had a noisy tikka bolt? I have a tikka blued version and it is quiet. I bought new SS version and the bolt is oddly loud I find. It is smooth but loud. Wondering if this is common?

My stainless is louder and less smooth than blued

After a while it broke in, I never noticed it when actually shooting though

Sounds like a metal to metal contact. It’s definitely louder then my blues tikka and my savage actions. Do they quiet down over time?

I noticed the same thing on mine when it arrived. Also found this thread directly under this one.

Help Tikka SS owners? noisy bolt slide

Just bought a Tikka t3 superlite 6.5 creedmoor in stainless. First thing I noticed is the bolt is noisy. I have a 270 wsm blued model and the bolt is almost silent. This SS model has some noise to the slide. looking over the gun I noticed the slide rails seemed to be grooved some. picture...

My new CTR 308 bolt is a little rougher than my T3 lite is. Both SS, but I just figured its brand new and the other has some cycle time on it.

My blued ctr is slicker than…well, its really slick. I think it may have a coating more than just bluing on the bolt?? Its also slicker than my blued tikka was. Stainless isnt quite as slick, but its also lighter with a different stock and working the action feels and sounds different due to that as well.
