So you have an arrow nock tuned and it’s shooting broadheads like a dream and then you rip a vane off. How do you line the arrow up perfectly in the bitzenburger to make sure you get the same alignment...?

Yup. But is there a way to get that same perfect spot to line up right in between vanes again? I am shooting 90 degree 4 fletch.

As long as its not the zenith upgrade version wont the fletchs be in the same position provided it was fletched on that jig?

Not if he turned the nocks. Also you have to reorient the nocks if you are using the stock indexer. The original Bitz has nock placement for recurves shooting off the shelf. If he wants to orient the indexer to the clamp for the standard drop away rest he needs to purchase the TM indexer. However this only works in a 3 fletch. If you want a jig that perfectly orient's a 4 fletch your only option is the Vane Master Pro. I assume the Firenock jig could also do it.

I would use a silver sharpie and mark where the knock is.
Put it in jig and twist the arrow till the clamp lined up where i wanted the vane to be. Glue on the new one.
Line up the sharpie marks on the knock and arrow again.

You put a new fletch in the clamp and seat it, and then turn the arrow until you have the exact same distance between the two fletches on either side of it. I do that all the time. But I also have a gift/curse for being able to see any micro differences in gaps.

Done this, works great.

The fletch may be off just a hair, but it really won’t matter, unless you have super bad OCD :)

I put the clamp on one of my remaining fletch, turn until it’s aligned properly, remove the clamp, put a new flech in the clamp and glue it on.

Thanks everyone, I will try just marking it and try to get close. Just to clarify I am going talking about marking a sharpie mark on the arrow once I have found the perfect dynamic spine alignment, then when I have to re fletch the arrow, trying to find a good way to make sure that when u put the new 4 vanes in that this dynamic spine location marked by the sharpie lines up perfectly between 2 vanes.

When I nock tune I put a sticker with a number on the shaft facing up. I can strip all the vanes and leave the number on the shaft and refletch. I have to spin the nock to get the vane orientation the way I want, but I can spin it back once I Fletch. I prefer to strip all the vanes so I can clean the shaft better before refletching.

Hadn't thought of using a sharpie mark on the nock/shaft to orient but that's a good idea, although probably temporary.

Sounds good. You can make the sharpie mark on the back end of the arrow, under the nock if you will, and it will stay there even when you re fletch

It's pretty much impossible to fletch to your mark with a 4 fletch on the Bitz. If you want to turn the nocks on your bare shafts then fletch to the exact location your going to need the TM indexer that is oriented to your exact clamp. From my experience when you throw a 4th vane on it totally changes your dynamic spine anyway. 4 fletch is fine but you are wasting your time trying to use a bare shaft. Just fletch it up then rotate through the vanes. Typicality the shaft will find a place it likes when you divide into quarters.
