NO EXCUSE bullets in CVA Optima

I just received my CVA Optima and in the paperwork it says not to use conical bullets over 400 grains. Is anyone using NO EXCUSE bullets in a CVA rifle? NO EXCUSE starts at 420 grains and goes up in .50 cal.

Ya, I saw that too when I got my CVA Accura V2. But I've shot the 420's and 460's in mine without any issues. But I'm also not using magnum type loads, I think that's the key. 70gr by volume of BH209 works pretty well with these bullets.

My wolf enjoys a 495 over a 85gr 777 3f load.....as does my vortek and knight.

I’m shooting 430 grain no excuses over 80 bh209 with a wad getting good results no problems

Mine has good accuracy and has killed 3 elk with:
.503” 420 NE
90 grains 777 3F
50 cal pre lubed wonder wad
