I was just at the grocery store when I overhear two guys talking about bull and cow elk tags. I had to stop and ask. Turns out their buddy got a 2-269 tag. I think he's in the Jacksonville Florida area. Anyway , good luck to all of you. It has to be sweet drawing a September elk tag in NM ! Never met the guy but I was a little excited for him.

Congrats to you first timers in 52, awesome country! I drew 3rd choice, 52 first rifle. It is my go to unit so very happy.

Not for the Navajo tribal members, non-members have already drawn. As for tribal members the deadline for us, isn't until May 27th.
