Does anyone have any experience with the Nikon Prostaff 3? I’m looking for a relatively cheap spotting scope that is compact and light. Would be used for backcountry backpack hunts. Thanks!

What price range do you want to stay in?

As cheap as possible without it being best used as a paperweight lol.
I've spent far too much this off season on crap I didn't need, and just got back from a scouting trip and realized my glassing setup is far too heavy. So now I "need" to buy another thing 😂

How does this compare to the Kowa 501/502 or the Nikon ED50?

How about versus a Vortex Diamondback (or the older skyline or nomad)?

Is that price the rokslide special or a typo? The website says $499. Thinking of giving this spotter a try would like a kowa 553 but not sure that's in the budget and if this spotter is real good and not really good like the kowa might be worth it with the cost savings.
Thanks
