I ended up with an extra spotting scope and don’t need this one. It’s in excellent condition has the stay on cover and the 25-75 zoom eyepiece. 82mm objective lens with ED glass. The scope is used in perfect working condition. These are an impressive scope for the money. If you read the bird watching forums they rank up there with Swarovski, Leica and Kowa At less than half the price. I’m asking $715 shipped and insured. I’ll post some pictures this evening
Thanks

Free bump, these are excellent scopes! Nothing close at this price imho. If I didn't have an S2 this would be mine

Thanks for the bumps here are the pictures I promised.

What's the weight on that one with eyepiece? It's a great scope and a great price, but in a bit torn on getting one that heavy.

Bump for a great scope - I've already got one. There is no better scope for the money; it goes head-to-head with the Swaro STS80/ATS80. The ED82 has slightly better resolution; the Swaro has slightly better eye relief.

Just a small correction on the nomenclature - it's an ED82. The ED III is its little 65mm brother. They are both in the third generation (hence the III) of Nikon Fieldscopes.
