So I bought the 13Eye pictured and it does NOT fit my SHV 3-10x42..I had a tough time finding scope covers for this scope and I finally found some butler creek. I just wanted to pass along what size will fit if anyone ever needs this information.
That’s odd. Did you open the cover when installing? So I bought the 13Eye pictured and it does NOT fit my SHV 3-10x42..

This is confusing as hell. Size 19 is way too big for both my shv 3-10x42 (not that there should be a difference). Size 30 obj fits
Will pick up 13 this week. Bizarre
Yep, standard capsWeird. The only differences I’m aware of at MOA/MIL..
Mine is MOA.
This is the standard butler creek flip caps right?

What is the difference? They that much more durable or something?Try the new Vism switchcovers by Ncstar. They are pretty slick. Just use a set of calipers and convert mm and your set. They come with a small seal and cam lock. My for the shv are the 44mm and 50mm.
I feel like the packaging is maybe screwy with butler creek. The 19 should fit and only be maybe slightly big. Mine is not even remotely close to fitting.
That could be right. I know some stores will grab them off the shelf to fit on scopes in store, then if they didn’t fit would repackage them. Maybe sometimes they don’t always get it repackaged correctly.I feel like the packaging is maybe screwy with butler creek. The 19 should fit and only be maybe slightly big. When Nightforce changed the shv 3-10 and got rid of the parallax adjustment did they change the obj. Size at all?
Both mine are non-illuminated and have side parallax
Don’t have calipers to measure
They stay on and are better built. Way more rigid. When open they are flat against your optic. I can't tell you how many bultler creek caps I have had removed by rubbing brush or clothing. Not bashing them, Just saying for a High dollar optic why put a cheap cover on it. personaly I wish more companys followed Leupold with thread in magnetic caps. There are a few good 3d printed varients out there. Regards. What is the difference? They that much more durable or something?

This is one of the reasons I went with Aadland for my 3-10x42 SHV. That and I couldn't for the life of me figure out which Butler Creek model or size... They are a bit spendy though - https://aadmount.com/products/caps_nfshv42. I can send you pics on the scope if anyone is interested. They stay on and are better built. Way more rigid.
