Bait advice

Curious to know what types of baits have worked best for you in Utah? I should be able to pull a tag in 2025. Just looking for some ideas on bait setups.

I'm in Idaho, but dogfood and syrup. Donuts, fruit from the produce stand, popcorn, food scrapes. It all works man. Especially once they find it. Get some fryer oil from any local restaurant and dump it around your bait. They will track it out and other bears will follow it in.

Hang a old clean sock or rag up in a tree soaked in pure anise oil. $

Im in Wisconsin and we run baits pretty much every year. We are big fans of cookies and popcorn. Every time I start the baits up or start a new bait I use Northwoods Bear Products Gold Rush, i mix it with used fryer oil and will spary it up into trees with a squirt gun. We complete with alot of other hunters but we are very successful and we only bow hunt our bears.
