Nightforce Rem 700 Direct Mount

Finishing up a 6.5 PRC build, and all I have left to decide on is the scope mount. So far this is what I have:
Action: Christensen Model 14
Barrel: OMR 26" Carbon Wrapped Remage 6.5 PRC 1:8 1" Profile
Stock: AG Composite Alpine Hunter
Scope: Nightforce SHV 4-14x50 F1
Has anyone used the Nightforce direct mount for a Rem 700? Seems like a great mount for a hunting rifle, but I'm just wondering what everyone else's experiences with it were.

On my tuned M700, I run the DM exclusively since I am not swapping scopes or carrying a spare just in case.

They are the most rugged 1 piece mounts in alloy that I have ever used and owned.

The other 2 I have used and owned are all steel models from NEAR Mfg and Miller and Crum.

Great selection in parts, I would use the DM without any hesitation.

I use a NF direct mount on my R700-SHV combo. I don't swap scopes and think it is perfect.

Long, but its a carbon wrapped barrel with a 50mm bell. Won't a low be too low for that? If not, I'd definitely be game for it.

I don’t have a NF direct mount, but I do have a DNZ Game Reaper on a model 700. AFAIK, basically the same thing/same purpose.
It works great, I don’t see any reason *not* to use lightweight one-piece mounts. Why introduce extra work and potential points of failure?
