We were busting rocks for fun after our elk hunt last year. 720 yards with a 6.5 SAUM and fixed 10X scope was no problem. I would have no issue putting the NXS 2.5-10x42 on the same rifle.

I agree with Broz on this. I bought this scope thinking it would have the same reticle as the other NXS's I have. I liked everything about this scope except the small reticle. Ended up selling it.
