Nightforce NX8 Help!!

Recently purchased a NX8 4-32x50 SFP. I took it to my trusted gunsmith and we got a load set up and when we zeroed it he pulled the turret cap off to set the turret and mistakenly forced the elevation turret zero stop the wrong way pretty hard. He realized this and then correctly set the zero stop. Now when I dial to the end of the turret it starts skipping and then no longer clicks. I understand there is a clutch in there but am not familiar with how these typically act when you hit the high end of the elevation turret. Is there any test I can do? Do I need to send it back in?

I plan to call them in the morning but wanted to make sure this wasn’t how they all are before I sound like an idiot. I’ve never had a NF before.

Yeah I didn’t think so. It’s just when I try to dial it like 60 moa up ( which is how much I need to shoot 1700). I didn’t think I’d have enough and would have to use my reticle. Anyways when I tried to see how close I could get it started to get weird when it got that high. Still tracks though.
