Nightforce NX6 Lineup

Credo is only SFP. That’s the main difference here. If you’re only looking at SFP scopes and not FFP scopes, then I see what you’re saying for sure.
I see FFP as a very poor choice for most people. I would bet my truck that 95% of people are taking game inside of 300 yards, most inside of 150. FFP makes NO sense at that range. Every complaint about invisible reticles is proof.

I think folks choose it because it’s what the cool kids shooting ELR out west are doing. That, or it makes them feel like hardcore operators on Meal-Team Six.

Yeah it’s more for longer range hunting and shooting. You are correct. If I was only shooting 300 yards I’d probably just use a slingshot or something….

NF would need to steal Swarovski or S&B’s coating recipes and they would be in good shape.
My dad has a Swaro PH that he bought probably 25 years ago.

At no point in those 25 years when I used it or sat in a stand with him swapping optics at dark gawking at deer, or sat on his back porch in summertime watching evening bucks, have I ever looked through it and said 'this isn't enough'. Not once.

That's not an endorsement of Swaro. I'm just saying we are at least 25 years past having 'good enough' glass capability.

All I'm saying is, even with the dozen reticle option nf offers, people still cant be pleased.
I’m not a picky guy when it comes to scopes. I’ve probably just learned to live with what I can get. I certainly don’t care much about “glass” so choices are easier with that. That said just like others there isn’t a reticle in the NX6 line that I’d spend my money on. If they’d just had put some hash marks on that 4A-i and put it in the 2-12 or 4-18 MRAD I might have thought about one.

It’s pretty comical at this point. The gas gun people will like the FC-MRx in the 2-12x, but that’s about it.
Agree. I think that will probably become the new “standard” scope for anyone following along with the Geissele 6ARC GFR development.

I’m interested in seeing how the tool-less turrets hold up. Looks like a smart change compared to NX8 line IMO.

I hunted with a Tasco 3-9 over 30 years ago on my dad’s hand me down 30-06. Never missed a deer. The convo isn’t about good enough, it’s about what it takes to be alpha.
