I was on squad 11 last year, and it was nice because you started day 1 near the cars, you got all the way back around to stage 3 the first day, so only one ride each way on the truck. I think squads 11-15 is probably a great place to start.

Can a single shot action be used or do you need a repeater ?

You can use that. I’ve seen a lot of folks single loading.
