I find it unfortunate that these things get blown up the way they do. Media outlets paying to "break" the story. Stupid social media "teaser" photos... I'll read them if I happen to pick a magazine off the rack but they all sound about the same.

A guy draws a tag, scouts, and finds a buck. Maybe it's a hard to draw tag and the hunter assembles a team of everyone he's ever met to canvas the area. The stalk happens, the animal is shot, recovered, and photographed. End of story. Usually...
I enjoy a good hunting story as much as anyone but I don't get very enamored by the successes and failures of others.
I like Robby's angle of promoting the management of the state resulting in these animals. I dislike the "exclusive" news release angle.
