Newer vs Older Swaro ATS /STS

S&S has had some videos where they’ve commented that they think the newer models are getting better and better

Anyone else experience that as well? Trying to decide between buying older vs newer

One of my buddies has an older ATS, I ended up getting a great deal on an ATX. Both are very good glass and at least to my eyes the difference was minimal and if it wasn't for someone being in a pinch forcing a sale I would have gone older to fit in my budget. The biggest difference I've noticed is with the binos comparing my older SLC's to the NL or the NL Pures.

I have used/owned both the older non HD ATM and newer HD version. My eyes saw little difference but my eyes are old. I personally think the older non HD version is a great value. The optic industry is always improving and if I was behind a spotter as lot I would buy the best.
