Thought I would share my pack set up for those would might not be happy with theirs. I use the EXO K3 4800. From early July thru August, my focus is spot and stalk mountain bear hunting, which it is perfect for. For me,it’s also perfect for mobile whitetail hunting(the overall size of the pack is easy to compress). My Novix Helo and Skeletor sticks(3) fit perfectly between the pack and the frame, making the load feel incredibly light. It also leave the front of the pack free to strap additional layers too in late season. In the tree, I can get to essential items from the 2 lid compartments and the top part of the pack thru the horseshoe zipper.
