Newb from Louisiana

New guy here from South Louisiana, I primarily hunt white tail, but due to recent move in of coyotes and hogs to my hunting lease I have decided to try do some predator hunting during the offseason. I have an older Fox Pro patriot call, id like to utilize as well. I have a few AR10s chambered in .308 and building a 15 6mm ARC. Am i wasting my time trying to lure these yotes in during the day? I have access to a thermal on one of my .308s. if needed for low light situations. Thanks
