New Yamaha Kodiak 450 or 700?

I only know about an instance where a friend went from a 500 to a 900. He loved the power, hated the mileage hit.

Are they the same overall size?

I specifically went with a 450 so I could put it in the bed of my pick up with the tailgate closed, but mines an '09 so it's probably not real comparable to the new models.

Just something to think about.

The 700 is about an inch longer and an inch taller. Neither quad will fit in my bed with the tailgate up so not much of an issue with the size either way. 5-1/2 foot beds suck.....
