New world record archery bull

Wow, I'm blown away reading all the ass kissing on this thread. Paying boatloads of cash to shoot a winter range suburban bull over bait should never be celebrated. When are people going to quit supporting these gluttonous "influencer" hunters? Man it's a bad look for responsible and ethical hunting. This is just ammo for the antis. We need to be our own worst critics
Amen!

Well great ....now the world knows we have 125 million turkeys and some decent bulls in Washington.
Think you’re a little short on those numbers. More turkeys, less bulls 😂 even less bucks

What if a boat load of that money was put into conservation and other beneficial avenues? Would it be wrong to do it still?

With all the money auction and conservation tags have been selling for we should have hunting opportunities and wildlife expanding substantially. Somehow it only seems to be decreasing, weird

Dang it! I was really hoping this transpired differently. I mean, if I had that tag and I was able to shoot that bull near christmas lights, I 100% would have. If it's legal, why not? This is the ugly side of having a yearlong season. Obviously hunting them when they are in an easy to locate pattern is the benefit of having that yearlong season. They either get shot In August or first part of Sept. or late winter. Still an awesome bull and most guys that actually know the hunter respect the hell out of him even before this bull.

I was in no way implying this state actually uses money for the benefit of anything 🤣 don’t you be putting those words in my mouth.

Money for conservation is like property tax: the number of hands held out asking for it keeps going up and up and more and more is “needed” (more accurately, wanted). The only reason they keep raising my property taxes in MT is because of all the people flocking here like sheep. Likewise, in my opinion There wouldn’t be such a high dollar amount “needed” for conservation if there wasn’t so many influencers killing 4-5 bulls a year. It’s illegal to sell game animal meat but somehow you can sell the story and the attention, which ultimately causes more stress on the resource in this day and age of the gram and the internet.

Caseys not an influencer, secondly there’s a shitload of missing data to prove it’s a “suburban bull” there’s like 3 pictures in town.

In my mind I struggle to find much difference between killing one over an alfalfa pile and one over the only water hole/man made tank in a 5sq mile area.

what I read he was considered the “elk king” and im guessing several of his 400” bulls were killed in a way 99% of guys would never be able to do ($)

That’s quite the list to not be considered an influencer. He probably got some cash to pay for the tag and the access from Hoyt. Much like how MT influencers can pay for their private property access.

*Would not upload the link but if you look at the list of Hoyt pro staffers, I would most definitely say he smells of “influencer”

He’s an influencer in the same way that Randy ulmer is, compared to the big name guys with YouTube channels like hush, Lee and Tiffany, seek one etc he’s a shadow.

That being said, He’s spent a pile of money on tags and hunts over the years.

I think most people would shoot that bull, given the tag and a legal opportunity.

The better play here would have been for them to post it on their wall and not on Instagram. They had to know it would turn into backlash.

I’m sure you feel the same way about those who can afford to go for stones, dall, etc?

99% of hunters (non-resident) can’t afford to go on those hunts either.

Why so judgmental on the tribal people? If not for your ancestors killing them and stealing THEIR land you wouldn't have shit to hunt on. There should be a Native American trespass fund you complainers pay into. Imagine, a Native American trespassing!

Amazing what big money buys a person, including boot lickers. Don't want to see any bitching about Gates and Bezos and especially none about Musk. Trump is sure licking his.

Fly.....Yeah, I'm pretty sure you ain't shooting Stones and Dalls around the house over bait. Yeah, most hunters can afford to hunt sheep if they really wanted to.....their wives are driving the kids to soccer in a 90K Suburban without a problem.
